Why the two-sided arrangement matters
A monitor light and a rear ambient light solve different problems. The front beam is intended to illuminate the desk without placing a lamp base beside the keyboard. The rear RGB zone changes the wall or room atmosphere behind the screen. Treating these as separate zones makes the product more adaptable, but it does not mean the same setting is appropriate for reading, colour-sensitive work and entertainment.
Mounting and screen fit
The official marketing material describes magnetic installation for flat and curved monitors and states a checked thickness limit of 1.26 inches; it also says the mount is not for laptop screens. These statements should not be simplified into a universal fit claim. Measure the monitor’s top-edge thickness and shape, check vents and camera position, and verify that the clamp does not load a fragile display housing.
Power and controls
The published 5V/2A input implies a suitable USB power source is required. A computer port, hub or adapter may not deliver the same current under every condition, so confirm the included cable and current regional bundle. The wireless knob needs a practical location on the desk and its battery arrangement should be checked in the current manual or package.
Use limits
ChinoMuse has not mounted the bar, measured illumination, checked glare on different screen coatings or evaluated colour consistency. Desk height, screen curvature, wall distance and room light affect the result. The product page establishes intended features, not a universal guarantee of eye comfort, glare elimination, gaming performance or colour-critical suitability.
