What it is
Igloo Cat Litter Box is a covered litter enclosure formed as a low white dome. pidan describes it as its first product, launched in 2015, and lists it among the brand’s award-winning designs with a 2016 Red Dot Design Award reference.
Why the design matters
The cat does not step directly from the litter basin into the room. A short internal corridor and perforated grid create a second zone between the basin and exit. The design intent is to intercept some litter carried on paws before it reaches the surrounding floor. Its enclosed form also makes the litter area visually quieter than an open tray.

Space and access
The exterior footprint is substantially wider than the litter basin alone because the corridor is contained inside the shell. Before choosing it, measure both the floor area and the approach path. A cat must be comfortable entering a covered enclosure and moving through the curved passage; the stated weight limit does not establish behavioural suitability.
Cleaning considerations
The dome and internal corridor create more surfaces than an open tray. Litter can collect on the grid and around the passage, so the enclosure still needs routine inspection and cleaning. PP resin describes the listed body material; it does not establish scratch resistance, odour performance or a maintenance interval.
