What it is
RU is a small pendant lamp with a long dark concrete body that opens asymmetrically around the light source. BENTU lists concrete, aluminium and demolition-leftover concrete as its materials. A black suspension cord keeps attention on the transition from narrow tube to flattened, flared mouth.
Why the design matters
The lamp challenges the expectation that concrete lighting must be thick, heavy-looking or geometrically blunt. RU uses a comparatively slender profile and a directional opening, allowing bare material texture to remain visible while the warm interior softens the object when illuminated. Its identity lies in this asymmetric cut, not in applied decoration.
