What it is
Purobot Max Pro 2 is an automatic cat litter box with a rotating cleaning cylinder, waste bin, weight sensors and a fixed camera. It connects over Wi-Fi so compatible app functions can assemble cleaning and activity records.
Why the design matters
The enclosure combines a 76L cylinder with an 8L waste compartment. PETKIT states that one cat can use the waste bin for up to 17 days under defined conditions. That is a manufacturer estimate rather than a maintenance interval guaranteed by ChinoMuse; litter type, cat number, waste volume, humidity and household routine will change the result.

Camera and record limits
The camera and weight sensors can support app records, but a visit record is not a veterinary diagnosis. Image classification, identity matching, weight readings and behavioural patterns can be incomplete or wrong. PETKIT identifies IPX5 for the camera; that statement should not be extended to the entire litter box or its electrical connections.
Cat size and kitten mode
PETKIT does not recommend the product for cats or kittens below 1.5kg. Kitten Protection Mode disables automatic and periodic cleaning, so cleaning needs to be started manually while that mode is active. No automated mechanism removes the need to check the animal, litter bed, waste bin and machine directly.
Placement and routine care
The unit needs a hard, level floor rather than carpet, with at least 5cm clearance from the wall according to the cited product guidance. The rotating system, sensors, camera window, litter screen, waste liner and surrounding floor require inspection and cleaning. Use only current compatible litter and consumables and keep power connections dry.

ChinoMuse has not installed the product, observed a cat, measured cleaning safety, tested odour control, checked record accuracy, evaluated noise, inspected privacy controls or confirmed the maker’s waste-bin duration.
