What it is
Presence Sensor FP2 uses millimetre-wave radar to observe presence and small movements within configured room zones. Unlike a conventional PIR motion sensor, it is intended to distinguish continued occupancy even when movement is limited.
Why the design matters
The adjustable magnetic stand supports wall or ceiling placement, while a recessed USB-C connection keeps the cable close to the body. The sensor can expose configured zones as separate triggers, allowing one physical device to describe several areas of a room.

Room geometry matters
Radar performance depends on placement, room boundaries and moving or reflective objects. Aqara identifies glass, mirrors, metal, water, fans, curtains and air-conditioning movement as possible interference. A single quoted area does not describe every room shape.
Fall detection is not a safety guarantee
Aqara associates fall detection with ceiling placement. ChinoMuse does not treat FP2 as a medical, emergency or life-safety device. Detection can be missed or misclassified, and any critical care or alarm requirement needs a purpose-designed service and human response plan.

ChinoMuse has not installed the FP2, measured radar accuracy, tested multi-person tracking, evaluated privacy controls, checked local automation behaviour or validated fall detection. The record does not claim surveillance-free operation beyond the cited product architecture.
